The web magazine of the JEF – treffpunkteuropa.de
In 2012, Treffpunkteuropa received the European Citizens’ Prize. The justification stated: “With its highly topical analyzes and politically balanced articles, the online magazine treffpunkteuropa.de contributes to the creation of a well-informed European public.”
Treffpunkteuropa is the web magazine of Young European federalists. It is mostly young people who have their say, but there are often well-known guest authors as well. I myself have already written guest articles for Treffpunkteuropa.
Treffpunkteuropa is close to current events and regularly provides new and exciting content. The articles are not long, written in a way that is easy to understand and usually provide a good overview or a crisp impulse. The quality of the articles is guaranteed by a young editorial team that works on a voluntary basis. Strictly speaking, there are seven editorial offices. Because articles appear in seven languages, for each of which there are different websites and different editorial offices. For example, the French version of Treffpunkteuropa is called “Le Taurillon” (“The Bull”), or the Polish version is called “Kurier Europejski” (“European courier”).
So if you would like to take a look now and again at which debates are currently shaping Europe, also what problems there are and how they could be solved, treffpunkteuropa.de is a good place to start!
